Program's Overview
Accountability Circles creates a high-trust, problem-solving climate and promotes the flow of valuable and timely information. Groups, teams, and individuals collaborate more effectively, correct mistakes more easily, and solve problems more quickly.
The Accountability Circles learning process includes three development strategies:
- Strategy #1: Recognize and Reduce Resistance
- Strategy #2: Eliminate Accountability Blind Spots
- Strategy #3: Initiate Accountability Circles
The Accountability Circles training also includes three surveys:
- Accountability Survey
- Accountability Feedback Survey (feedback from others)
- Trust Climate Survey
Certification
Approximately 10 hours are needed to earn Accountability Circles Certification.
1. Individual Prework
Participants will be required to complete 3 surveys in advance of the workshop.
Length: Approx. 1 hour
2. Group Session
Group Session will be held on the 2019 LIFO Global Business Meeting in Tokyo, Japan. This session will let you experience select Accountability Circles activities.
Length: Approx. 3 hours
3. Individual Study
Length: Approx. 4 hours
4. Small Group Session (Remote)
(Session will be scheduled in advance to honor different time)
Length: Approx. 2 hours

Global Master Trainer (with BCon)
Senior Master Practitioner (with TSC)
Experience Includes:
- Master trainer and senior master trainer in applied behavioral sciences for more than three decades
- Behavioral health counselor for four years
- Training director for four years
David has been mentored by Dr. Stuart Atkins (creator of the LIFO® Method & Accountability Circle Training) since 1984. He has facilitated LIFO® Certifications and Accountability Circles Certifications with more than 2,000 professionals from more than 500 organizations worldwide.
