Gender Equality and Diversity
While the awareness of gender equality and diversity is increasing these days, it is still far away from ideal:
- According to the August 2020 Edition of Fortune Global list: Only 13 women (2.6%) were CEOs out of 500 Fortune Global companies, and all of them were white.
- An analysis by Mercer of over 1,100 organizations across the world found that representation of women decreased as the levels progressed.
- According to the ILO 2020 research and statistics, it is estimated that women, on average, are paid 20% less than men across the globe. The range varies depending on the country, from 45% to hardly any difference at all.
