These Social Media Terms of Use (the "Terms") set forth the rules for the use of the official social media accounts (the "Official Accounts") operated by Business Consultants, Inc. ("BCon," "the Company," "we," "our," or "us").
To help maintain constructive communication and a safe user environment, please use the Official Accounts only after reviewing and agreeing to these Terms.
1. Definitions
Social Media / SNS means interactive media and social networking services that enable users to transmit, receive, and exchange information over the Internet, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X, LINE, YouTube, LinkedIn, and similar platforms.
Users means individuals who access, browse, follow, subscribe to, post on, message, mention, tag, or otherwise use the Official Accounts or the information distributed through them. By using the Official Accounts, Users are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
2. Official Accounts
BCon operates official social media accounts for the Company and for certain BCon-owned or managed intellectual property and service brands. The following are placeholders for the official accounts operated by BCon. Any account not identified by BCon as an official account is not affiliated with BCon.
3. Purpose of the Official Accounts
The Official Accounts are intended to provide information, facilitate appropriate communication with stakeholders, and support awareness of BCon’s services, activities, brands, and intellectual property.
4. Prohibited Actions
Users shall not engage in any of the following acts, including acts that may lead to such conduct:
- Any act that infringes or may infringe the rights, interests, property, or reputation of BCon, other users, or third parties.
- Any act that defames, insults, threatens, harasses, abuses, or damages the credibility, honor, privacy, or reputation of BCon, other users, or third parties.
- Any act that discloses personal information of others, including but not limited to email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, or similar information, without authorization.
- Any act that interferes with BCon’s business operations or the proper operation of the Official Accounts.
- Any act that violates laws, regulations, court orders, or legally binding administrative measures.
- Any act that violates applicable platform rules or terms of service.
- Any act related to election campaigning or conduct that violates applicable election laws.
- Any act soliciting membership in religious, ideological, political, or similar organizations through the Official Accounts.
- Any act soliciting investments, donations, funding, or purchases of goods or services without BCon’s authorization.
- Any act introducing, linking to, or encouraging access to websites or content deemed inappropriate, unsafe, illegal, or harmful by BCon.
- Any act using the Official Accounts for file distribution, mass promotion, spam, or unauthorized commercial purposes.
- Any act transmitting viruses, malware, or other harmful code or files, or otherwise interfering with hardware, software, networks, or systems.
- Any act involving unauthorized posting, impersonation, false representation of authority, hacking, scraping, monitoring, copying, or unauthorized access to all or part of the Official Accounts.
- Any act that obstructs the provision, administration, moderation, or use of the Official Accounts by BCon, other users, or third parties.
- Any other act that BCon reasonably deems inappropriate in light of public order and morals, applicable law, platform standards, or the purpose of the Official Accounts.
5. Responses to Posts, Comments, and Messages
Information shared through the Official Accounts may include the views and expressions of individual account operators, employees, or contributors and does not necessarily constitute BCon’s official statement or formal position. For official announcements, please refer to BCon’s official website and other formally designated channels.
BCon does not guarantee that it will respond to all comments, posts, mentions, or direct messages. Response methods and response timing may vary depending on the account, platform, subject matter, and operational circumstances.
6. Moderation, Deletion, and Restrictions on Use
If a User violates these Terms, BCon may, without prior notice and at its sole discretion:
- hide, delete, or report posts, comments, messages, tags, mentions, or other content
- restrict, suspend, or block the User’s access to or interaction with the Official Accounts
- preserve records related to the relevant activity where appropriate
Users shall not object to such actions where taken in accordance with these Terms or as otherwise reasonably necessary for the management of the Official Accounts.
7. User Responsibility and Indemnity
Users are responsible for their own acts and content in connection with the use of the Official Accounts.
If a User violates these Terms or causes damage, loss, or expense, whether tangible or intangible, to BCon, other users, or third parties in connection with the Official Accounts, such User shall resolve the matter at their own responsibility and expense and shall compensate for any damage to the extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Disclaimer
BCon does not guarantee, endorse, or adopt the accuracy, truthfulness, completeness, legality, reliability, or usefulness of information submitted or posted by Users.
BCon does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, availability, security, or fitness for a particular purpose of the information published on the Official Accounts.
BCon shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Users or third parties as a result of relying on information provided through the Official Accounts, except to the extent liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
BCon assumes no responsibility for external websites, services, content, or resources linked to from the Official Accounts by Users or third parties.
9. Handling of Information
BCon will appropriately handle personal information obtained through the Official Accounts in accordance with its applicable privacy and personal information handling policies.
BCon may store, access, preserve, disclose, or provide records of User actions and related information in the following cases:
- Where required by law or competent authority
- Where reasonably necessary to respond to claims involving alleged infringement of rights
- Where otherwise reasonably necessary for the operation, protection, administration, or security of the Official Accounts
By using the Official Accounts, Users acknowledge that publicly available account and profile information made accessible through the relevant SNS platform may be viewable and processable by BCon to the extent permitted by the platform and applicable law.
10. Intellectual Property Rights
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Official Accounts and all content made available by BCon through them, including text, graphics, logos, videos, images, trademarks, copyrighted works, and other materials, belong to BCon and/or the respective rights holders unless otherwise stated.
Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly transmit, adapt, store, commercially exploit, or otherwise use such content beyond the scope permitted by law or expressly authorized by BCon.
With respect to content posted or submitted by Users, the applicable rights remain with the relevant rights holder unless otherwise agreed. However, where a User agrees to BCon’s request for use, such User grants BCon a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license, with the right to sublicense where reasonably necessary, to use, reproduce, distribute, promote, publicly transmit, display, adapt, transfer, lend, and otherwise use the relevant content for communication, promotional, educational, archival, or operational purposes.
To the extent permitted by law, Users shall not assert moral rights against BCon in relation to any use authorized under the foregoing license.
11. No Professional Advice; Educational Purpose
Content shared through the Official Accounts is provided for general informational, educational, and communication purposes only, unless expressly stated otherwise.
BCon’s intellectual property brands, including but not limited to LIFO, THE, ITS, and ACT, are intended for educational, developmental, and organizational use. Social media content is not a substitute for individualized professional, medical, psychiatric, psychological, legal, financial, or other specialized advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
12. Changes to These Terms
BCon may revise these Terms at any time without obtaining prior consent from Users. Any revisions shall become effective when posted on BCon’s website, on the relevant Official Account, or otherwise communicated by BCon, and shall thereafter apply to all Users.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Official Accounts or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Supplementary Provision
These Terms shall come into effect on April 21, 2026
