The Most Important Questions You Should Be Asking Yourself Right Now
On July 18, we began a four-part manga series called "Innovative Aki". In this series, we depict Aki's growth through his work as he follows four general steps:
- Changing one's perspective in order to come up with many ideas.
- Using clear standards and methods in order to narrow down ideas.
- Creating effective proposals that are easily adopted.
- Creating and executing plans to implement ideas confidently.
Although many of you may not recognize these four steps right off the bat, many of you are nevertheless unconsciously using them on a daily basis. After all, ideas are the fundamental pillars of any initiative or innovation.
Check out the manga series here if you haven’t read it yet and then ask yourself the following questions:
- How do I come up with ideas?
- Do I generate just one at a time, or do I try to come up with as many as I can?
- When there are numerous ideas, what standards do I employ to choose the best one?
- What are my methods for creating proposals?
- What is the most effective tool for managing projects?
Once in a while, it is a good idea to reflect and ask oneself the above questions. You may discover that this leads you to create your own original tools for creating innovation.
